"You Can Say , 'I Love You,' in Helvetica."

Finally, got around to watching Helvetica. I'm a bit of a font geek, so I was really looking forward to watching this documentary. I thought it was really interesting learning about the history of a typeface that surrounds us on a regular basis. I didn't even realize how ubiquitous it is until they cut to all the different billboards, storefronts, and street signs. It's everywhere! Another intriguing part of the movie is hearing the different perspectives from the graphic designers and typeface designers. I also found the movie very visually pleasing. I must admit I did get a bit bored with it towards the end. Perhaps, the last couple of interviews weren't as interesting as those in the beginning?
