One skill that I've really mastered this year is keeping myself busy around town. Often, I get off work way before my hubster does, so I need to find something to do. Reading at coffee shops gets a bit old after awhile. I need to mix things up. Last week, I spent some time at a Manuscript Museum. Last time we went, I saw some poems written by Emily Dickinson. I was hoping to see some more during this visit. Instead, I found an interesting Sir Arthur Conan Doyle exhibit. He wrote Sherlock Holmes. I loved learning who Doyle based Holmes on.
