Pre-Easter
The day before Easter, my hubster and I made our way down to Point Loma to check out the Cabrillo National Monument. I had fond memories of going there when I was a wee one, and we hadn't been down there together yet. So, why not? I had forgotten how amazing the view is of the city. With the wildflowers in bloom, it was even more picturesque. There was so much to do too: different mini museums, mini hikes, and tide pooling. We were a bit pooped out from the drive the night before, so no tide pooling for us. By the way, the pass lasts for a week. What a deal! I highly recommend it.
