A Small Moment

Today, a kiddo shared how proud she is of her dad. He can help her with homework even though the directions aren't in Spanish. He even understands it when she doesn't get it. She likes helping him practice speaking English. Her smile lit up the room as she shared all of these lovely stories. A small moment while everyone was at recess. It's hard to get these moments when there are 25 kiddos in the classroom. It was only for a few minutes, but I will cherish it for the rest of my teaching.
