Rollin'

My friend Mychal just moved back to the Central Coast after spending a few months as an Okie. Since we knew that he was coming down for a visit, I checked out our awesome local magazine for any fun events in town. What did I find? Roller derby! Only $5 per person (The price went up for some reason at the door.). It was pretty fun. Not as much hardcore contact as I had expected. Unfortunately, one girl did take an elbow to the face and that elbow broke her glasses. She was a trooper though. The girls had such fun roller derby names. Some of our favorites were Bacon and Legs, Pinball, and Hydrojen (her number was H1).
