- checked my facebook.
- went through my gmail.
- googled future vacations including a trip to Egypt.
- agreed with my hubster that we should save our US trips for when we have kiddos because it'll be more affordable and not as stressful with the kiddos.

Catch Up: Last Week's Sub HIghlights
Highlight #1:
Answering the question: "Mrs. Trac, why do you need those glasses?" in front of room of kinders and 4 other adults. You would think the answer, "To help me see," would be enough. Then, I get the follow-up question, "Why do you need them to see?" Oh kinders.
A wee one being amazed by my engagement ring. Then, he asks to see "this thing." My answer? No (said as kindly as possible). I ask him why he wants to see it. He responds, "It makes rainbows."

Best $40 That We've Spent
We went to watch Ingrid Michaelson perform and she was amazing. I had already been a huge Ingrid fan, having her Girls and Boys cd as a mainstay in my car. A bunch of her songs are also on my playlist that is featured here. After watching her perform, I have an even greater appreciation of her talent. She did an acoustic performance, playing either the ukulele or keyboards most of the time. She sounded just like her cd. In between songs, she would tell anecdotes or jokes that were actually pretty funny. My hubster was even impressed. He told me that it was the best $40 that we've spent. I definitely recommend seeing her wherever she plays.
*Special thanks to my hubster for enjoying my chick music with me.
