Catch Up: Car Show

Every December, we go to the San Diego Car Show. My dad gets us tickets. Then, we wander around Little Italy and have a divine lunch at Buon Appetito. It always surprises me how many supportive wives I see at the car show. I love hopping into cars and checking out the interiors. I also love the swag that we can pick up. We got some sturdy reusable bags to use for our groceries and insulated bag for test driving a Hyundai. A few years ago, the boys got Skyline posters.

Food, Natural Light, & Macro

I was so worried that my Photo365 project would be so redundant and look almost exactly like my blog here. To my great surprise, it's revealing main themes in my life and photography style. I'm learning even more about myself. Apparently, I am a foodie. Most of my photos have been food related. I also heavily rely on perfect natural lighting and macro photos. I don't quite know why macro is totally my style. Am I lazy when it comes to composing my shots? Oh gosh, I hope not. Instead, I would like to say that I'm very good at noticing and enjoying the details in life. Life is all about how you spin it.

Catch Up: Boba Date

My hubster and I are terrible about setting time aside for official dates or even casual dates. One of my favorite memories over winter break was our boba date. My hubster was craving boba, so he did his yelp research. He found a little coffee shop that also served boba. It was in a quaint downtown area. We parked the car. Walked a few blocks. I had lavender milk tea with boba. He had mango milk tea with boba. No laptops. No books. Just us looking at each other. Joking with each other. Simply wonderful.
